Hello. Welcome to my website and Positive Minds Alliance. My work is dedicated to helping people grow and thrive, and I enjoy using scientifically researched techniques to make a meaningful difference in their lives. In coaching sessions, I assist clients in discovering their unique strengths, building self- awareness, and developing the resilience to face challenges directly. I also like to keep sessions fresh and engaging by incorporating creative approaches, such as connecting with nature or trying out hands- on exercises, to make the experience enjoyable and impactful.

Combining psychology, coaching expertise, leadership training, and a strong passion and flair for helping clients recognise their strengths and take transformative steps is what makes my work so fulfilling.

I am a Chartered Coaching Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS). https://portal. bps. org. uk/psychologist- Search/register- of- Coaching- Psychologists.  I am also a Senior Coach Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and a Fellow of the International Society for Coaching Psychology.

 

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with some incredible individuals and organisations. I draw on my expertise in Psychology (including Coaching, Positive, Developmental, Educational, Occupational, Clinical, Social, and Personality Psychology) to support and challenge coaching clients from diverse backgrounds.

 

As a university professor, I developed the first UK university course in positive psychology coaching, co- led a university master' s degree in applied positive psychology, and continue to run bespoke courses for universities, government agencies, and various businesses, from small start- ups to large multinationals.

 

Since completing my psychology doctorate 35 years ago, I have authored several research papers. I am frequently invited to present at conferences on topics related to coaching, such as outdoor and nature coaching, active listening, overcoming procrastination, managing difficult emotions, developing self- compassion, and strengths coaching.

 

One of my clients' favourite coaching methods is the 'Walk and Coach' technique.
